Darjeeling I Sight seeing Tour
Today get ready early morning by 4 a.m to witness the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzongha(28,208 ft. ,Worlds 3rd highest peak ) at Tiger Hill. Its a destination by itself offering not just great views during sunrise; its a place where you can soak yourself with Himalayan serenity anytime during the day. Thrill yourself by visiting World famous Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on your way back. Batasia Loop is fascinating to watch the toy train with its way round the loop. The War Memorial constructed in the memory of brave sons of Darjeeling who died in different wars since 1947, is worth a visit. A glorious view of snowy peak and town can be seen from this place. After a sumptuous breakfast visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, P.N. Gangtok I Excursion to Tsomgo Lake
Today Proceed to full day excursion to Tsomgo Lake which is 35 Kms from Gangtok at an altitude of 12,400 feet. The lake derives its waters from melting snows of the surrounding mountains Legends say that lamas could forecast the future by studying the color of the lake’s waters. Also visit Baba Mandir.
